The money we raise goes to paying for research staff who monitor every patient after surgery to help find out what works and how to best improve treatments for the future.

Our priority for research over the next few years is to develop a regenerative medicine programme. Regenerative medicine uses stem cells and will ultimately lead to treatments that repair damaged joints rather than replacing them with metal, plastic and ceramic components. As yet, there is very little reliable information on what stem cell treatments will work and we need your support to help us get this research off the ground.

Thank you for all your generosity and support. Arthritis and other similar conditions are very painful, so any donation helps us to improve treatment for you and for all residents who suffer from these conditions.
